Football Cards

Football Card Shops in New York City

Both of our stores stock football trading cards: 96 Christopher Street in the West Village and 185 W 80th Street on the Upper West Side, open seven days a week. Fall is the busiest stretch of the football release calendar, so new boxes come in often during the season.

Popular Football Card Brands

Panini Prizm, Donruss and Donruss Optic, Select, Contenders and National Treasures have been the core of football collecting for years, from the Optic Rated Rookie to on-card rookie autographs. Topps and Bowman are back in football too, with Topps Chrome football, 2026 Topps Football and 2026 Bowman Football.

Rookie Cards, Autographs and Grading

For many collectors, a rookie card of a star quarterback is the centerpiece of a football card collection. Autograph cards, numbered parallels and cards graded by PSA and other grading companies sell for more. If you're deciding what to collect next, our team at either store can help you compare current sets and players.

Football Cards FAQ

Where can I buy football cards in NYC?

At Bleecker Trading's two Manhattan stores, 96 Christopher Street in the West Village and 185 W 80th Street on the Upper West Side, or online at bleeckertrading.com for pickup at either store or local NYC delivery.

What comes in a Topps Chrome football hobby box?

It depends on the year, but Topps Chrome hobby boxes are built around chromium base cards, rookie cards, refractor parallels and autographs. Pack and card counts change from release to release, so check the product page for the exact breakdown before you buy.

Hobby box or mega box: which is better for football?

Hobby boxes cost more and usually include more autographs and hobby-only parallels. Mega and blaster boxes are lower-priced retail formats with their own exclusive parallels. If you're chasing a specific rookie autograph, most collectors start with hobby.

Are there card shows in NYC?

Yes. Bleecker Trading hosts card shows, trade nights and release parties at our Manhattan stores. Trade nights run from 5pm to 9pm at both stores, and every date is posted on our upcoming events page.

Does Bleecker Trading buy football cards for cash?

We buy football cards worth $30 or more, with a preference for numbered, graded and autographed cards, and we pay by PayPal or store credit rather than cash. Send your cards through the sell your trading cards form or book an appointment at either store.
